Internet addiction

Teenangers spend a lot of time online, which can lead to their developing addiction, but 1-6% have this addiction. When talking about addiction, it is not about being intoxicated, but people are losing control and behaving badly. This problem has been growing among children and adolescents in recent years. Symptoms of online addiction can occur in different ways in individuals. Web addiction is not evaluated by how long individuals are in front of the computer but by whether and how the use affects their lives. It is common for adolescents who struggle with online addiction to spend all their time outside the school to be at the computer and tend to be very tired at school and even sleep during school hours.

Internet addiction is often similar to a gambling addiction in which individuals who struggle with such addictions have the common stress of being in a tension between being on the Internet or playing sports and meeting friends and family, attending workouts and at school and work. Individuals who spend an excessive amount of time in front of the computer are at increased risk of experiencing various physical afflictions, which may be the result of a lot of stationary work and bad posture that individuals have to be with the computer.

To avoid being dependent on the internet, exercise is a very good option. Just a short walk could be of great benefit.
